Description
NBUB-GG premium truck brake linings feature a high-friction asbestos-free formula with a glass fiber base. This premium mix is exceptionally fade resistant, has a very long life and exceptional drum compatibility. NBUB-GG’s stopping performance and wear characteristics have been extensively evaluated in dynamometer testing and in millions of miles of practical use by fleets. Low swell and growth characteristics reduce potential for wheel lockup, making NBUB-GG suitable for use with automatic slack adjusters. High tensile strength eliminates cracking in both shoe riveting and application on the truck.
NBUB-GG meets the inertia dynamometer requirement of the FMVSS 121 brake standard at a 26,000 lb. GAWR when using an AL factor of 180 type (30 air chamber and a 6″ slack adjuster). If cost per mile and downtime are important to you, NBUB-GG premium brake linings are the rebuilt shoe you need.
